Painting
My paintings explore themes of femininity, girlhood, and nostalgia through the use of bright bold color and loose brushwork. I am interested in the ways color can be used to explore the complexities of memory and femininity. I draw inspiration from the women in my life as well as the natural world, looking closely at the joy of mundane moments as well as the surreal qualities of everyday life.
